About Us
About Adventure & Travel Marketing.
Adventure & Travel Marketing was formed in 2004 when several companies in the Adventure Travel & Backpacker markets expressed interest in outsourcing their sales and marketing, but to people who had expertise, experience and contacts. The rest is history...
Our People
Andrew Paltridge & Malcolm Lewis, Company Directors.
Company Director and CEO, Andrew Paltridge <email Andrew> has over 15 years of Travel Industry Experience. After completing a Bachelor of Business, Andrew worked for a major oil company in a marketing role. The lure of the great O.E. proved too great though and so with backpack in tow in 1989, he headed to Europe.

After much independent travel, Andrew decided that life as a tour manager running and organising tours would be fun, plus it would enable him to see more of the world whilst working. Andrew decided that after 4 years of running tours for others, he wanted to try his luck running tours on his own, and so with 2 partners he organised and ran tours from London to Morocco and from London to Nepal (and back!) <old photos here one & two > |

Returning to Australia, Andrew worked for almost 10 years for an international tour operator (Connections Adventures) as the National Sales and Marketing Manager where he was in charge of all sales and marketing for Australia and New Zealand. He set up his own company, Adventure & Travel Marketing in 2004.
Andrew has 2 children and lives in sunny Brisbane, Australia.
Company and Sales Director, Malcolm Lewis left his homestate of Victoria, Australia for 6 weeks in 1986 and has still not returned (well only for quick family visits).
After discovering that the world was more than local sport and his beloved Collingwood Magpies he has spent the last 20 years in travel. He spent 5 of the most memorable years of his life as a tour leader. He travelled all over Europe, Nth Africa, Middle East & the Indian Sub-continent on the infamous Double Decker buses before deciding that this experience should be passed onto the unsuspecting public and he became a Travel Agent in the UK.
Later, he started a long and illustrious career with Flight Centre first in NZ, before returning to Australia in 1999 and after 3 years as Manager at a Flight Centre retail shop he moved to the Corporate world.
Here he was responsible for staff, marketing, client relationships, as well as budgets, financials etc... he is now happily the joint owner and Sales Director of Adventure & Travel Marketing Pty Ltd - something perfectly suited to his background...unfortunately he still follows Australian Rules Football team Collingwood...well, no-one is perfect.
Malcolm is married, with 2 children (only one of whom supports Collingwood) and lives in Brisbane.
